The project included teaching sessions on ritual and spiritual formation, mission service, a weekend retreat, and ultimately the crafting of a congregational worship service that included a ritual transition (litany for new drivers) and celebration of the many stages of life. Evaluative instruments included survey, interview and questionnaire. The Gospel Wagon is an evangelistic tool that combines witnessing and peace. From this, a teaching module was developed that served as a catalyst to inspire children to acquire attitudes changes that lead to positive conflict resolution. The project incorporates the virtues of the fruits of the spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) and the principles of Kwanzaa which served as the foundation of the project. Seventy-five percent of the pilot group made a positive change toward shalom.
