In view of the fact that most of these students/scholars will move back to China after they finish their academic programs, introducing the Gospel to them may be of great significance to the Gospel ministry of mainland China. Combining his own 15 years of experience with mainland China student ministry in Europe, what he has learned from the D.Min program at Logos Evangelical Seminary, and the study of Paul's missionary strategies and attitudes in the Bible, the writer provides European churches with recommendations on how to develop appropriate strategies for Chinese students/scholars ministry and their vision of future work. State College, the setting, where this project took place, was introduced in the first chapter of this project. I examined the biblical basis for discipleship training. The writer looked at the historical background of discipleship training and followed the works of various campus ministry groups in Korea. This ministry project analyzed the discipleship-training materials that are currently in use by churches in Korea and Korean churches in the States. With this analysis, results from the pre-survey, and the help of the Curriculum Advisory Committee, the writer created new curriculum and ran it through with the congregation via post survey. In summary, it has been determined that the curriculums created by the campus ministry groups and used by Korean churches in the States cannot be used effectively. This will be done by developing and initiating a ministry plan for equipping members of First Baptist Church, Fayetteville, Arkansas. This local church will serve as the platform for this ministry plan. The ministry plan includes preaching messages on evangelism and the importance of discipleship. It involves teaching a seven week class to equip volunteers to evangelize Chinese students, including lessons on the biblical foundation for the need of salvation, the cultural and social needs of Chinese students, effective models for ministry, relationship building, the importance of witnessing, the introduction of tracts and videos, and the importance of baptism. The time frame for the ministry plan will begin with a two week plan for preaching the messages, nine weeks for recruiting ad equipping volunteers with an interest in Chinese student ministry, and one week for evaluation. Many existing programs of evangelism emphasize the knowledge and experience of the presenter of the gospel.  The emphasis of this project will be on recognizing and ministering to the needs of the receiver of the gospel message, the international student.  The eleven-session project includes two evaluation sessions and one session on the biblical basis for evangelism among international students.  The remaining nine sessions are designed to train American students to develop personal relationships with internationals.  These relationships should become channels through which the gospel is communicated. Training sessions will include information that will prepare the participants to communicate cross-culturally. Participants will also be trained to develop relationships by ministering in three specific areas.  These areas include physical, relational, and spiritual needs. The theoretical presuppositions for the project are the homogeneous unit principle which facilitates evangelistic efforts by forming a bridge between the church and the students from Hong Kong at the University, and the friendship evangelism principle that can bring them closer to the church to embark on a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  There will be banquet-talk programs arranged for the students to familiarize them with the American lifestyle, and to provide a forum for socializing between the students and congregants to achieve Christian fellowship. The church will then enlist its own members to host students from Hong Kong and to provide assistance to these foreign students during their short stay in our community.  The church will also provide an environment for the students that will be conducive to their seriously considering the faith and even becoming members of the
