Currently, the only support systems for sexual minority youth are secular. Reconciling churches and clergy welcome sexual minority persons as part of their ministry. This ministry is a contrast to the current climate in our country, our culture, and our churches. A ritual of union and homosexual case study reveal the psychological basis is the family of origin, generational patterning, and systems approach. This study includes an outline of the training program developed by the author; interviews of people who have been trained; and interviews with those who struggle with homosexuality and have entered discipling relationships.
