With an examination of existing literature the report began with a historical, theological, anthropological, and missiological prolegomena. The actual project consisted of forty-five in-depth interviews with three generations of Saxons from Kitchener-Waterloo and Aylmer, Ontario. The key conclusion of the research was that the role of the church has substantially deteriorated among all generations of Saxons. When older Saxons insisted on speaking German in club and church, they excluded their younger generation from participation and leadership. The equipping model was utilized in this project. The project began with the project director's research on the biblical doctrines and concluded with the equipping of the select group of believers. The research included demographic data specific to the Hmong people community in northeast Georgia, USA, and personal evangelism strategies available to train Christians locally and nationally. This doctoral project focuses on the Roman Catholic immigrants in the United States of America and in a context of a particular BRazilian congregation in Naples, Florida.
