Cathedral in Jamaica, NY. The data triangulation method included surveys, a forum, and autobiographical narrative story telling. The findings included a congregation that needed to be mindful of the dire plight of males in their community as well as a call to assist them. The report began with a survey of psychological, sociological, and theological insights into male depression.  The support group consisted of eight weekly sessions with homework assignments drawn from CR material, Hart's book, and daily devotionals. The key conclusion of the project was that depressed Christian men can be aided significantly through an integrated, Bible-based support group. Using a survey and a control group, the study looked for lasting impact thirty-two to fifty-five months following the training. Findings indicated overall impact was lacking.
