As the project director, I used the equipping model to complete this project. To determine the best path for the project, I began by researching the field of apologetics to identify essential apologetic skills. Due to the rapidly changing nature of student ministry and the challenges of teaching students, I also researched how to develop engaging, interactive seminars to teach skills. Once I completed the research, I wrote a curriculum to equip selected students from my church. Then, I will utilize the best practices of developing leaders to define a standard for student leaders at Millington First Baptist Church. The team and I will work to develop a student leadership strategy for Millington First Baptist Church. The first step involved research of FBCS’s Annual Church Profile to determine attendance trends from 2013 to 2022. The project director then surveyed selected church leaders to determine the current state of discipleship within FBCS.\r\n\r\nThe project director researched literature and existing disciple-making models and methods to discover the best practices for FBCS. The project director then selected a student and adult disciple-making strategy team to whom results of research were presented.
