The project involved enlisting eighteen collegiate facilitators for the training workshop.  The workshop consisted of eight sessions taught in four days.  The dates of implementation were May 22-26, 2003.  After the training, the workship and the participants were evaluated.  The project director assessed the findings by using post-tests, covenant cards, and role-playing. The staff at New Horizons Ministries (NHM) intuitively understandd the complexity of the homeless runaway adolescent (HRA) life and the counterproductivity of street life.  A systemic analysis of the complex problem of youths being unable to exit street life and an evaluation of the ministry of New Horizons will be used to confront the plethora of issues and strategies for service delivery that confront the ministry of NHM.  NHM believes that HRA running from abusive environments face further abuse, exploitation, and isolation on the street. Serving these youths in a deeply relational context NHM follows the model of table fellowship to the marginalized illustrated in Luke's Gospel. NHM staff surround youths with concentric circles of support that empower and equip youths to live healthy, interdependent lifestyles.  This philosophy of service is based in the missiological categories of the ministry of Jesus and modeled by the early church. It analyzes ways in which the postmodern worldview is reflected in the religious and cultural value system of Latino celebrities and writers, as well as in the lives of high school students in Miami, Florida. A questionnaire of one hundred twenty-four students and a personal interview with seven Hispanic students reveal an emerging postmodern worldview among Hispanic teenagers both in and outside of the church. The Bible is filled with charges and directions for a life full of meaning.  Matthew 28:19-20 gives us a precise command, 'Therefore go and make disciples of all nations.'  The charge of making disciples is clear and direct.  The question comes about when determining how best to make disciples.  Jesus used modeling and mentoring.  The established example of Jesus mentoring is the one that will be discussed and followed.     There is a great need in youth ministries for students to see how other students who are committed followers of Jesus Christ live their lives.  The project leader believes a teenage student better relates to another teenage student than to an adult.  A student mentor can grow personally by being trained to mentor, as well as become prepared to minister to their mentoree. This project will develop a curriculum for teenage leaders to lead younger students to understand how they can have a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.  The project leader will work with the mentor development team to develop six sessions that will be used by student mentors to lead a younger teenage mentoree.  The mentor will spend one on one time with a student who is two or more years younger than the mentor.  The mentoree will be trained to understand how to have a closer relationship with Jesus, as well as be encouraged to become a mentor to a younger student. The project director implemented a twelve-session project which was designed to guide selected members of Gateway Baptist Church through a process to develop a strategy to reach unchurched young adults.  The project director researched the subject matter and gathered the information needed to develop and train the participants in building a strategy.  He equipped the strategy building group to develop a strategy to reach unchurched young adults in South Tipton County.  The project director and the strategy building team presented the proposed strategy to the congregation. Responses of 34 participants indicated that the provision of programs and activities were a major factor in influencing youth toward participation in the church.  A significant number of the participants felt wanted and needed in the Church.
