This paper is the report of a study using action research involving teenage members of a suburban Chicago church in a survey and small group reflections on their attitudes towards other faiths and their understanding of religious difference. The results show that tolerant views held by these young people owe more to secular expediency than religious commitment.  Beliefs are private and rarely shared, even among close friends. Second, the director developed a teaching module for selected Southern baptist leaders in Texas to use to train youth for ministry in cross-cultural setting. Last, the director equipped selected Southern baptist leaders in Texas with the teaching module to train youth in ministering cross-culturally. These selected leaders along with the youth participants provided assessment and evaluation regarding the effectiveness and usefulness of the training module. In addition to the ministry goals, the project director pursued two professional goals. The first professional goal was to increase knowledge in cross-cultural ministry for the purpose of developing a tool for training youth. This small three-year-old church plant has seen incredible growth, approaching six hundred active worshippers coming from the entire Northwest Arkansas region. Located in a region with large university institutions, Crosspointe wanted to develop a practical and sustainable collegiate ministry to reach college-age students for Christ. This ministry project is divided into four main sections. The first section details the current spiritual crisis on America's university campuses. Through direct demographic data, this project also demonstrates that same spiritual crisis exists in Northwest Arkansas. The second section examines the effective academic process of strategic planning for organizations. The third section explores current collegiate ministry strategies which are effectively reaching college students in local church settings. The section also provides a detailed review of applicable texts which relate to crating age-group ministry strategies. Society has mis-judged them and abandoned them in the system.  Leaders in the church, school, local government and even parents have often failed to nurture seeds once rooted, and now disconnected from the soul.  Their hearts are saddened, spirit is broken, due to rejection and abandonment. The curriculum for the weekend highlighted the practice of the devotional leaders of the church who are pioneers in spiritual formation. The project director used multiple methods to train these teenagers in the disciplines. During the eight sessions of the equipping retreat, the teenagers experienced spiritual disciplines. Appraisal comes through written evaluations and an interview evaluation. The leaders demonstrate an understanding of this process by engaging in an intentional relationship.
