opportunity in living out the gospel of reconciling love by participating as neutral third party mediators between the victim and the offender. Through the process of mediation, stereotyped images of who victim and offenders are will be broken down; mutual agreement as what should be done about the offense can be reached; and reconciliation can occur. A randomly selected list of 200 ministerial families was devised for the mailing of the questionnaire, using the listing in the Yearbook of the Church of God...1979. Forty ministers and forty three ministers' wives completed the survey questionnaire. A definition, theology, and methodology are developed for pastoral supervision/consultation, and project materials and related resources used during the 1979-81 supervision/consultation with field education students and clergy in a pastoral counseling training program with the author form the appendix. The findings and implications present the writer's interpretation of the results of the project, along with suggestions for improving the content of the project the next time around.  The section on 'The Contribution to Ministry' is the summary statement of the validity of the project.
