This project uses the focused interview to identify transitional difficulties and the availability of assistance in these categories: theological, personal, economic, familial and relocation.  It draws conclusions, with correlative implications, from these interviews.  Southern Baptist ministers, generally, are not adversely affected by ministry in the military.  They usually return successfully to ministry within their denomination. A psychometric tool, the 'Anger Self Report', was adminstered to a population of Texas Panhandle Southern Baptist clergy.  Areas explored included awareness of anger, general expresison of anger, physical expression of anger, verbalization of guilt and anger, condemnation of anger, and mistrust. A study is made of the place of financial stewardship in the Old and New Testaments.  Theological study looks at stewardship in Reformed theology.  The study includes a look at how worship and financial stewardship are linked.  A survey was made of 32 Presbyterian churches, each with 2000 members or more.  Active laity and clergy attitudes and practices were uncovered.  Campaign practices were surveyed.
