The project compares the experience of interim time between five small churches that chose an 'intentional' interim and five small churches that chose to have a traditional 'Sunday supply.' This project examines these issues in order to find ways to prevent pastors from abandoning their call or congregations. Based on research in current literature, the project interviews pastors who have recently moved or left the ministry, and also surveys congregations they left behind.
