Following comprehensive research, a five-session workshop was developed. Session topics included an introduction to personal wellness, developing physical wellness, developing spiritual wellness, developing relational wellness, and developing emotional wellness. Workshop participants discovered an appreciation for the value of developing personal wellness. The workshop enabled them to evaluate their physical, spiritual, relational, and emotional health strategies. A questionnaire distributed to these chaplains recorded the effectiveness of the self-care program upon their emotional, behavioral, and spiritual resiliency. The project revealed that the self-care program had a positive effect on their behavior and emotional resiliency, and some impact on their spiritual resiliency.
