The method of research was interviews with alumni of the program. The LSSC offered modules, targeting particular leadership needs in one district.  Using two approaches, development oa ministry tool and case study, she explored ecclesiology of small churches and tailored learning/training events to some realities of the small church: primacy of relationships, simpler organizational structure, and lay-oriented power. The project incorporates training and a six-month test period in which a leader guides a youth minister through InSTEP. A covenant of goals and homework directs the process. Appraisal comes through written evaluations and an interview evaluation. The leaders demonstrate an understanding of this process by engaging in an intentional relationship. Through research, ten of the most prevalent crises encountered were identified. For each crisis, situations were analyzed to determine successful pulpit approaches that have proven beneficial to particular pastors in jeopardizing situations. This research found a strong correlation between preaching God's Word and weathering the storms of ministry. He focused on strengthening these skills. After a pre and post survey, the researcher scheduled workshops for training and refreshing their skills in administration and organization. The researcher observed the participants in workshop settings and actual pastoral duties in their church. It is the belief of the researcher that his goals were accomplished with significant success. He realized that fifty percent of the participants showed improvement. Qualitative research procedures in the form of personal interviews were conducted with a total of thirty-six individuals using a set of predetermined, open-ended interview questions. My quest is to discover if the training works. This project asks the following questions: Does T-net training make an impact on a church's ability to grow numerically through people coming to Christ? Do churches that have gone through T-net training experience an increased number of committed followers of Jesus Christ? Do T-net trained churches experience an increased number of leaders who are competent to lead? Do they have an increased sense of community? Do T-net trained churches have an increased number of members who are committed to Scripture? A thorough study was done in the literature to analyze what constitutes the key components of discipleship. A questionnaire was written to discover the impact T-net training has had on the discipleship in selected churches in the Midwest area. The senior pastors were independently interviewed. The staff, with the exception of the senior pastor was interviewed together. Also, a group of lay leadership from each of the selected churches was interviewed. These results were carefully compiled and analyzed for patterns.
