A cross-section of leaders from the New Mount Olive Baptist Church served as participants in a case study.  An analysis of the leadership styles and the organizational culture within the New Mount Olive Baptist Church was performed through the administering of questionnaires, a professionally designed Leadership Inventory, and a Congregational Systems Study.  Findings suggest that existing ministry leaders were unclear about role expectations and lacked effective training.  Additionally, emerging leaders were not being identified and engaged in ministry.  The project demonstrated that the development of a comprehensive training module designed to teach quality and excellence would better identify, train and develop ministry leaders. The booklet was tested over a five-month period ending with a threefold evaluation.  The project calls for leaders to model Christ for the mentorees.  The report discusses mentoring as exemplified in scripture, and summarizes the difficulties, benefits and lessons learned from the project.  It concludes that mentoring can be done in Cameroon if pastors are appropriately equipped and encouraged. This project focuses on the challenges of pastoral responsibilities and family life, using the writer's personal experiences, discussions with other pastors and literature review, thus following the descriptive methodology.  The research revealed that because of the need to fulfill what is expected of them, pastors find less time for their family and personal development.  It further found that spouses and children feel neglected and abandoned for church work and therefore, need more of the pastor's presence in the home. Anonymous self-mailing surveys were sent to all current Brethren pastors using a list of core values, and open questions about methods of expression and values priority.  These pastors were then asked to distribute self-mailing survey to three laypeople in their context.  These surveys were then analyzed for significant differences.  Statistically significant differences were found in the methods of values expression and in values priority, with 52 pastors reporting expressions and priorities that reflected a professional perspective of ministry, and 111 laypeople perceiving expressions and priorities that reflected a relational perspective of ministry. Training usually takes the form of learning from life's experiences or from books and seminars. The purpose of this research was to study the impact of a practical training program with a theoretical, biblical base upon the confidence level of youth pastors.  The three-day seminar was designed to facilitate deeper discussion on key biblical passages that reflect the paradoxical life of Jesus and how he trained his disciples.  These were Luke 24:13-25; John 5:2-9; Mark 7:24-30; and John 8:1-11.  The seminar also gave participants four basic tools to use in counseling: symptom prescription, reframing, scaling questions, and the miracle question. This research was an evaluative study in the quasi-experimental mode utilizing a pre- and posttest design and comparing a control and experimental group.  The main testing tool gave answers from a variety of collecting tools such as multiple-choice, scaling questions and open-ended questions.  The latter were evaluated by thematic analysis finding categories and themes evident in the youth pastors' responses. The system includes a comprehensive training program and subsequent ministry of pastoral supervision, and is tested with a pilot group of conflict resolution consultants. The research demonstrates the effectiveness of the system in assisting churches and church staffs in resolving conflicts.
