In the first workshop, the target group gathered to experience a process of theological reflection on the mysteries of God, Jesus, church and ministry, with an aim to gain an appreciation for pluralism and diversity.  The second workshop was on the development of communication skills (empathetic listening and assertive self-disclosure as vehicles to becoming collaborative).  The Whitehead method of experience in dialogue with the culture and tradition predominated. The sessions explored basic models of communication, understanding oneself in the context of communication, developing verbal skills, developing nonverbal skills, and developing listening skills.  Two testing instruments were used as pre-tests and post-tests.  Test scores indicated a significant increase in interpersonal communication skills.
