Using movements of practical theology as developed by James N Poling and Donald E Miller, the project explores various theological and cultural understandings of soul in order to introduce a vocabulary of communal dimensions of soul--'parish soul'--to a Roman Catholic parish in Shreveport, Louisiana. The project examines recent cultural and denominational reviews of individualism, investigates connectivity in the Book of Acts, interviews pastors and reports recent models of connectivity.  Based on these findings, the project presents resolutions and four models from the early church, documenting the rise of extreme individualism in culture and churches.
