This understanding of community is based on the righteousness of God and egalitarian relationships among the community evidenced by equitable distribution of needed goods and power within society. Taught by the prophets and Jesus, this jubilary principle inspired the apostolic church and groups in this country to build community. The comprehension and expression of such a view is vital to the health, life and testimony of the church. When the church captures a vision for biblical community it will leave a living signature upon the world and experience purpose, fulfillment and joy. This project created a biblical model that was entitled 'Love and Friendship in Relational Community.' The model measured the condition of relationships in the light of biblical principles on community and designed means in which to bring about relational change. The model was analyzed and evaluated externally by a team of experts and internally by a church staff.
