Considerable attention is given in the manual to biblical examples of conflict and to cross-cultural factors that influence the way conflict is dealt with in other cultures.  Sources of material included books, articles, and DMN courses on conflict management, inter-cultural negotiations, and cross-cultural management. I also drew from my personal observations as well as those of my associates serving with GMU International. The manual has five major sections.  They are designed for a series of five seminar sessions of two to three hours each. The report focuses on the dynamics of conflict management within the church, the biblical and theological rationale for mediation, and the development of a workshop.  The workshop helps church members become aware of the chraracteristics of conflict within the membership of the local church.
