Shared praxis was the approach used for the practicum. Venture in Faith shares the physical facilities and several programs.  The study explores difficulties encountered in reaching the agreement and also current concerns.  It projects future possibilities for mutual mission. Once the research phase was completed, the materials were assembled into a seminar format.  The principles of adult education were followed and the project was field tested in a local congregation. Five small groups participated in a ten-month program of spiritual formation using John Wesley's 'band' model.  A questionnaire was administered to the small groups and the rest of the congregation before and after the program.  The small groups experienced significannt spiritual renewal but the remainder of the congregation did not.
