These workshops were designed to foster continuing education and personal growth relating to grief and anger issues faced in the hospital context.  Preworkshop and postworkshop questionnaires were used to gather information.  The preworkshop questionnaires showed an adequate understanding of both anger and grief. It articulated the characteristics of contemporary presidency at eucharist. The author designed, implemented and evaluated a five-day workshop on the topic for Roman Catholic priests.  The workshop included lectures, audio-visual critique and small group interaction among the participants.  The project demonstrated the need for continuing liturgical formation among Roman Catholic clergy.
