The focus of this project is to understand the theological rationale for unity among diversity within the church and to give principles of how a church can transition into a church for all people. An analysis of the responses served as the basis of a report given to the administrative leadership that they might develop a plan to provide a more beneficial experience for students who are facing diversity issues now and in the future.  Results indicated that qualitative research is warranted. The author's own experiences with pick-up soccer games and as part of this community served as the primary background.  Sociological and theological resources regarding play were evaluated, with particular interest in how the 'unwritten' rules of a play community help to structure that community.
