Though born into a world that held tightly to race segregation, Seymour's ministry gave a glimpse of heaven where people of 'every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation' forever worship God together (Revelation 5:9). And though Seymour's childhood included Hoodoo cult influences, he grew into a man who sought only the power and glory of God most high. The author used action research to study: (1) the initial intercultural competence among campus staff (2) training elements appropriate for the group and purpose (3) changes after training and (4) evidence of the training model's effectiveness. Data collection included pre-training Intercultural Development Inventory [registered symbol] assessments and post-training survey.
