With John 9:1-41 as a theological context, and assisted by a team of the child's family members and select parishioners, the pastor developed and executed a plan of liturgical reintroduction by appropriating some best practices from deafblind education, including the use of an intervener and the creation of a 'tactile missalete.' Implemented over six weeks, the perceived progress of the project, as observed in the child's changing level of engagement, was tracked through group discussions and the sharing of field notes."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Pittsburgh Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["31bd5819-b5a3-4928-96d5-b581f38b637b"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791127559820279808,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T06:45:51.208Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T02:42:47Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T06:28:36Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"d75b17c3-93e4-4dbf-81a3-63654cdede37","accessControl_ssim":["30701ca7-14da-4342-a427-0e52360ccc18"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Eye has not seen, nor ear heard: a study of the means which deaf-blind people experience God"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T02:42:46Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T04:17:31Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["ab204d27-8812-4c1d-963e-7f52f612d45e"],"hasLease_ssim":["e2acce16-5e55-4475-9f35-201ce9876e2f"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Doctor of Ministry"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"advisor_tesim":["Kathy Black"],"year_tesim":["1993"],"resource_type_tesim":["D.Min. It begins with a brief overview of deaf-blindness and the unique educational and psychological factors it presents. The theological foundations chapter suggest five means of experiencing God that come from the writings of numerous theologians of the past and present. These five means are explored through the research of individual interviews and the writings of deaf-blind people. The paper ends with general conclusions taken from the research and suggests some implications for the church."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Wesley Theological Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["5a6e4a36-5801-4bff-8e61-86d7489efb4a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791126478462648320,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T06:28:39.945Z","score":1.0}],"facets":[{"name":"resource_type_sim","items":[{"value":"D.Min.
