The purpose of this study was to determine whether Christians who underwent four weeks of christo-cybernetic therapy would self-report significantly less depression than Christians who did not. The study used a case history method involving four cases drawn from the author's work as a hospital chaplain and as a pastoral counselor.  The histories were preceded by a theoretical investigation of the condition of depression and of pastoral assessment and treatment concerns.
