Literary research is in the fields of narrative theology, developmental psychology, and the alcoholic family system.  Social research utilizes a treatment effect research model. Faith development is viewed as sequential stages of development of Christians until they conform to the image of Christ.  A healthy interaction among family members would mediate the grace of God to their faith development. It suggests a structured network of covenant family group ministry in a church to build up and enrich Christian families for faith development. Gilligan's research pointed out that normative theories of development matured through their relationships.  This project thesis develops a perspective on relationship drawn from theories in the fields of psychology, theology, and faith development.  Research data consisted of twelve interviews with women who were asked to describe themselves, their relationships, and their faith.
