Drawing on the insights of family systems theory, particularly the concept of self-differentiation, the project focuses on the experiences of North American Mennonites, who in many ways have integrated into the surrounding culture but are still strongly influenced by the theology and practices of their tradition. The project also explores the religious, spiritual, and other resources utilized to deal with anxiety.
