This project uses the seminary's supervised ministry program and adapts the program for the local church for sr high and college students not yet sure of the call of God for pastoral leadership.  Nine students interns were hired for a ten-week summer internship program structured under the model of supervised ministry. In equipping believers to exercise discernment, hermeneutical training addressed the divine/human nature of Scripture and provided a model for interpreting Scripture given that nature.  Theological training explored the character of God, human free will and divine wrath, the covenant of grace and faith, and the transformational nature of salvation.  A model to use in exercising spiritual discernment was developed and practiced. Nine elders spent four months studying Bible passages related to spiritual gifts.
