The eight-week study sought to empower students with an understanding of what being a disciple means and having an ability to implement the practices of disciples. At the conclusion of the workshop, students were equipped to begin meeting with two or three students, training them to be disciple-making disciples. The need for this training was significant due to an apparent void of university students who are disciple-making disciples. Many of these traditional mentoring programs, though effective in the past, no longer meet the needs of young women. This qualitative research project focused on selected postmodern women and explored the manner in which their unique worldview shapes their mentoring preferences. The project looks carefully at the mainline and subculture socio-demographics of Pasco County, mapping the possible Third-Place encounter points and assigning them to districts. By hermeneutically creating cultural narratives of each district, churches can train personnel cross-culturally to enter these Third-Place setting with gospel fluency contextualized to a culture or subculture. In order to gain a better understanding of small-group ministry as a whole, the project director researched in the field of small-group ministry. The project director conducted interviews, along with extensive reading in the field, in order to develop a list of the best practices for small group multiplication. The project director also researched curriculum writing and worked with an expert in curriculum development for the purpose of developing a curriculum for use in training the best practices. He taught a selected group using the domains of learning: cognitive, psychomotor, and affective.
