Research includes brief historical overviews of: catechistical methodology from Mesopotamia to present, printed catechisms and educational theory from the sixteenth century, early adolescent learning and memorization theory.  Market research indicated no availability of curricula containing all six important educational elements: question, answer, supporting Scripture verse, Scripture reference, verbal explanation and/or illustration, visual illustration.
