It explores a number of key women in the New Testament, the developmental theories of Carol Gilligan, and ten sermons by Anglican/Episcopalian women priests. The thesis then examines homiletics curricula at four Anglican colleges in Canada. The thesis statement is tested in a forum for students and the thesis concludes that colleges offer little gender-sensitive homiletical training and women would indeed benefit from such training."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Miscellaneous"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["4f3e9d5f-fc19-4d44-a264-44b56604eb9a"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["work_editor","public"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791129755722973184,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T07:20:45.384Z","score":1.0},{"system_create_dtsi":"2023-10-12T07:21:51Z","system_modified_dtsi":"2024-05-22T02:57:36Z","has_model_ssim":["Etd"],"id":"cf297b16-165b-4cbf-a4e0-4a3dec381d94","accessControl_ssim":["a6e11518-305b-4400-96c9-32c88de556dc"],"depositor_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"depositor_tesim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"title_tesim":["Lessons in Christian essentials: an introductory course on Bible doctrine"],"date_uploaded_dtsi":"2023-10-12T07:21:50Z","date_modified_dtsi":"2024-02-17T04:04:08Z","isPartOf_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8"],"hasEmbargo_ssim":["0526c751-884b-4d67-b5fd-e6cc353181cd"],"hasLease_ssim":["2e0263d8-5d02-4f91-b9db-40ca0d53b46b"],"show_pdf_viewer_tesim":["1"],"show_pdf_download_button_tesim":["1"],"institution_tesim":["Atla RIM"],"degree_tesim":["Unknown"],"degree_granting_institution_tesim":["Trinity Evangelical Divinity School"],"advisor_tesim":["David L Larsen"],"year_tesim":["2002"],"resource_type_tesim":["Unknown"],"types_tesim":["Text"],"creator_tesim":["Robert Kase McGaha"],"publisher_tesim":["Trinity Evangelical Divinity School of Trinity International University"],"subject_tesim":["Christian education","Education--Curricula","Theology","Bible"],"language_tesim":["English"],"abstract_tesim":["This project consists of writing and teaching lessons on basic Christian doctrine, and is undertaken with two primary goals. The first goal is to increase the students' knowledge of Bible doctrine. The second goal is to strengthen the students' faith and love for God. In the opening chapter, research is presented that demonstrates a widespread lack of doctrinal emphasis within evangelical churches. Chapter two addresses the question as to why believers should study Bible doctrine. Chapter three consists of a narrative of completed class sessions. The foundational basis for the mentoring is drawn from Scripture as well as related literature. An approach is drawn and a mentor agenda is suggested with themes drawn from a survey of ministers as to which topics need emphasizing and suitable for mentoring moments. The work was applied to a group of students for a term and feedback drawn included better grasp of classroom material, a clearer understanding of the ministry and what it entails and some personal responsibilities that the learner needs to pay close attention to strengthen his grip to the tasks before him."],"rights_statement_tesim":["https://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/"],"thumbnail_path_ss":"/assets/work-a3b75da7abded620ab321410c80d102e5e2417b71c54de7ba7d4b0363da904f7.png","suppressed_bsi":false,"actionable_workflow_roles_ssim":["f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-approving","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-depositing","f6c99b2a-5c91-4444-8946-01a1837f1fd8-default-managing"],"workflow_state_name_ssim":["deposited"],"member_of_collections_ssim":["Western Seminary"],"member_of_collection_ids_ssim":["910240dd-6bfb-49cb-ab06-1b8de036aac8"],"visibility_ssi":"open","admin_set_tesim":["Metadata Only"],"account_cname_tesim":["rim.ir.atla.com"],"human_readable_type_tesim":["Etd"],"read_access_group_ssim":["public","work_editor"],"edit_access_group_ssim":["admin"],"edit_access_person_ssim":["ckarpinski@atla.com"],"_version_":1791132862015078400,"timestamp":"2024-02-17T08:10:07.775Z","score":1.0}],"facets":[{"name":"resource_type_sim","items":[{"value":"Unknown","hits":296,"label":"Unknown"},{"value":"D.Min.
