It is pointed out that God has been active in the lives of all people.  The Old and New Testament personalities and early church fathers believed that God has never left himself without witnesses. A panel of lay persons plus a dialogue between biblical scholars made critical biblical scholarship available to the average believer using a video cassette recorder. Research involved perusing Vatican II documents and subsequent directives. Academic study of media production and related disciplines helped complete a new curriculum with a pilot video program which has been successfully field-tested. The student's own community composes the new environment.  The method considers these assumptions: 1. methodology needs to be consistent with its message; 2. remembrance is enlivened by experience; 3. recall is supported by sites and places; 4. meaningful teaching advances an ethic; 5. our ethic is visible in God's future kingdom; and 6. walking can support Christian learning.  Five lessons and post-tests demonstrate the method.  Evaluation included student responses a week after and parental response eighteen months later. The author investigates the unique Lukan parables and uses these as the primary source of information concerning how Luke thinks. It becomes evident that the parables will not be confined to a particularized definition.  The only peace one can make with them is to confirm that they are vibrantly alive and unfinished in their continual impact upon Christians.  The basic thrust of the parables seems to convey messages about the Kingdom of God.  The application of these Kingdom of God messages may be utilized in public worship, parabolical writings and church school curriculum. Disciplines used included scripture, early church history, practical theology, and behavioral science.
