The first part of the project was an examination of the meaning of reconciliation followed by a study of the meaning of the sacrament of Holy Communion in relation to reconciliation.  The second part was a fourteen session study with leaders of a Presbyerian congregation.  The group planned three communion services for corporate worship and surveyed the congregation following the services. Instructional objectives are stated as learning outcomes and defined in terms of specific behaviors that students are expected to demonstrate.  The author attempts to identify various aspects of the evangelistic task from which specific component skills are extrapolated.  Measurements are accomplished by the use of performance observation and by a pre-test and post-test in the form of a semantic differential taken by participants and two control groups. It concerns the development of a workshop and teaching manual on the biblical instructions which are given to parents.  The workshop is designed for Christian parents, and is constructed in such a way that it can best be used in church settings such as study groups, church training, weekend workshops, and retreats.  The major method of study and research was a personal in-depth study of scripture.  The results of the project were twofold.  First, it was established that a need exists for such a workshop within the ministry framework of the local church. The goal was to foster personal growth in seminarians as they prepared for pastoral ministry.  In the project, the first division documents how this experiment in personal growth was carried out.  Section A carefully outlines the methodology used and describes in detail the composition of the class of students.  Section B reveals how tensions arose in the group which ultimately forced modifications to the course. Section C highlights the innovations used to foster further fellowship and growth.  Section D explains and gives the results of the various testing used to discern growth in the students.  These tests indicated clearly that the students did grow academically, professionally, and personally as a result of the project.
