The primary goal of the study was to identify methods that are working to initiate and retain Chinese returnees in RFGs. Qualitative field research consisted of semi-structured interviews conducted in China with eighteen members of City A and City B RFGs. These problems are not due to the world but to the fundamentals of the church. In this thesis the house church is proposed as an alternative. The researcher focuses on its fundamental vitality and complementary ecclesiology.
