A questionnaire was submitted to the leadership of the diocese, consisting of the Bishop, Canon to the Ordinary, and the members of the Standing Committee.  Women's ordination to the priesthood and acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle, together with threats to make the diocese conform, were the most crucial factors.
