The case study for this project is of African Evangelical Baptist Church of Grand Prairie, Texas. The researcher conducted interviews of church members. The information obtained from members provided proof that the church was started on an ethnic, linguistic, social, and cultural premise and was experiencing five percent annual growth. Although each of these multiethnic churches have come to the same conclusion regarding the importance of being united and inclusive based on their biblical understanding of the New Testament, they have important differences in their strategies. Upon closer examination of each of these representative multiethnic churches, one finds variations because of differing motivations for doing multiethnic ministry. This study focuses on examining these variations.
