Using a methodology developed from Latin@ theologies and the tool of web ethnography, the author studies the web and social media sites of four HSIs in different geographic regions. Critical pedagogies and LatCrit theory provide lenses to evaluate the data gathered through web ethnographies. Using the anthropological and cultural methodology of ethnography, particularly participant observation, the researcher discovered how the nuns preach. Through interviews with the nuns of three monasteries and the laity who live near them, the author discovered that the nuns preach by their very existence, through their prayer, and in their liturgies. The thesis of this project is that Scripture memory and recitation within public worship can provide pastors of mainline congregations a way to facilitate fresh encounters with Scripture as a living Word. Using ethnographic listening practices, the study investigates the effect of Scripture recitation as a form of proclamation in one mainline Protestant congregation over the course of two years. Data for this analysis were collected from archival sources such as libraries, online journals, and interviews with proponents of ethnohermeneutics. Relevant literature was reviewed from a multi-disciplinary as well as global perspective. The role is commonly referred to as pastor, shepherd or teacher.  Ordained ministry often comes at the cost of emotional and physical turmoil in the life of a pastor.  This can result in ordained ministers questioning their abilities, their own personal success and even their call into ordained ministry.  In this project seven ministers are interviewed.  They reflect on their decisions to leave or remain in the role as an ordained minister. Following the pattern of four approaches in diaspora missiology: missions to the diaspora, missions through the diaspora, missions by/beyond the diaspora, and missions with the diaspora, both quantitative and qualitative data of the three selected North American congregations in mission ministries had been collected by a combination of multiple approaches. The author describes the current American context for ecumenism and identifies and compares the four schools' approaches to ecumenical education and formation. The effect of ecumenical dialogues and full communion agreements on theological education is analyzed.
