The project reflects upon what it means to do prophetic evangelism through newspaper pages, and uses a resource group for direction and growth. The hypotheses were that those trained in lifestyle evangelism would report more witnessing encounters and time spent in prayer for the lost than those trained in traditional evangelism. The data for this study was taken from weekly evangelism surveys filed by each student participating in the study. Data was gained from on-site visits to over twenty ministries in recreational areas from Maine to California.  These ministries were then presented according to their primary goals: worship, evangelism, counseling, and social action. A discussion of evangelistic strategies in recreational areas recommends the use of friendship, proclamation, and contact evangelism. Findings from on-site visits and research into evangelistic strategies are joined together in plans for establishing an evangelistic ministry among recreational areas in Maine. Instructional objectives are stated as learning outcomes and defined in terms of specific behaviors that students are expected to demonstrate.  The author attempts to identify various aspects of the evangelistic task from which specific component skills are extrapolated.  Measurements are accomplished by the use of performance observation and by a pre-test and post-test in the form of a semantic differential taken by participants and two control groups. He established the need through personal evaluation and a survey, and then developed the training program and relayed the dynamics of the training sessions. The study concentrates on finding the basic needs of families by way of a community survey.  The findings of the survey resulted in the development of several possible responses a local church can make in meeting the needs of families. To reach out effectively it was discovered that people within the church needed to be equipped to do the work of ministry. Therefore, a community training center was designed to equip lay people for ministry to the
