The author developed a curriculum for the Bible studies, surveyed the area for the best locations, trained leaders, registered the participants and began an eight-week program in individual homes.  Each week preceding the study, the author met with the leaders to present the next study and discuss the previous week's study.  At the end of the eighth weekly session, the ultimate goal was to continue the two Bible studies and establish one additional study in the Boutte area. Three groups of Christians were trained to build a trust relationship with non-Christians and to evangelize them using five prepared Bible studies. The project utilized small groups of people which met in homes.  The group met together for one hour and included time for Bible study, sharing prayer concerns and group prayer. The Singapore situation has shown that committed women motivate through modeling biblically and equipping a selected few in the context of a small group or living together.  Mature disciples trained in ministry apartments have been reproducing, thus augmenting the local churches. Disciple-making programs provide opportunities for the exercise of God-given abilities and enhance international networking. Part two used pre-test/post-test instruments to evaluate the success of the newly developed material on groups of high school and college students led by trained youth ministers. After locating Chinese families from telephone directories, the outreach effort included telephone calls, direct mail and door-to-door visitation.  These activities were conducted with the hope that church members would be trained to reach out to the community through different means, and would generate opportunities to share the gospel and to increase church attendance. The eight messages centered on eight hindrances, as discovered by survey, that most hampered aggressive witnessing.  The pastor organized members into small discussion groups, prayer groups, and witnessing teams to implement this plan. The process of training began with the selection of ten key women involved in mission education at their churches.  Specific training with co-church members was provided for the five women chosen to continue in the project.  The women were encouraged to see that ministry through activities on property and the building of relationships for evangelism was the entry point, but the beginning of on-site congregations was the goal.  Mission-minded women are interested in the needs of multihousing communities and are willing to be trained, but need a structure within which to work, and are hesitant to begin congregationalizing efforts without much encouragement and support from their church leaders.
