MCC was not sufficiently dissatisfied with the status quo to motivate them to make the large-scale changes necessary to adapt this model. Two ministry emphases were utilized.  A seven-sermon series was preached October-November of 1989.  An urban evangelism workshop was conducted in December 1989, and again in February 1990.  All ministry activities were evaluated through participant questionnaires.
