Twenty-eight people were interviewed of surveyed from the MAC region (three laypeople, fifteen pastors, and ten professors).  They answered eleven questions that dealt with components of holiness evangelism. In order to assist the Pillar of Fire to pursue its purpose with greater ministry effectiveness, this study sought to identify and test receptivity to a purpose-driven organizational restructuring. Though that communication has sometimes fallen on deaf ears, the message has been delivered in multiple mediums.  This history of the church has followed suit in attempting to communicate the unchanging message of the gospel into constantly changing cultures.  In some eras the church has been more successful than others, but never has the medium of communication been unimportant.  This study looks at the art of communication, giving particular attention to its given context and its use of multi-sensory venues to communicate the gospel.  This project begins with a broad survey of some of the highlights of communication in culture, particularly related to the church.  The review of literature then looks at the history of the way that God has communicated with His people throughout the biblical witness. Finally, this project studies the way that the church has attempted to communicate this good news to a world that changes.  In this project, a methodology will be formulated to examine the best ways to use the expanding technologies to communicate the gospel today.  Focus groups will be used to measure the effects of multi-sensory stimulants in worship. The participants were given the eight-week class and evaluated by a pretest and posttest of the Spiritual Well-Being Scale, pretest and posttest interviews, and field research notes. The project followed the strategy planning model.  The process included a community analysis that revealed the demographics, psychographics, and needs of the First Newark community.  The community analysis was followed by a congregational analysis that included a study of the history, demographics, psychographics, spiritual gifts and mission of the First Newark Baptist Church.  A comparison of the information gathered from the two studies revealed new opportunities for ministry in the First Newark Community.  Strategies for ministry were then developed according to clearly defined data gleaned from the analyses.  A Strategy Planning Team was formed and utilized in the planning and initial implementation process. Stennis Naval Air Station for Christ. This project was comprised of two major components--seminars and outreach evenings. Seminars concentrated on military family needs, Naval Air Station regulations regarding visitors, and how to share one's faith. The writer measured positive cognitive and attitudinal changes in most all the participants. The effectiveness of this 12-week study was measured by a seventeen-question survey, administered to the 30 students, three separate times, in addition to some homework assignments.   The design allows the student to take a spiritual journey that will change the way one sees himself, thus changing the way he views others. Two hypotheses were proposed. Chapter 5 provides the analysis of the impact of the church consultation.
