Everybody admires those churches that have achieved great increase in membership almost overnight. This research discloses that the only way out is to go back to the Bible. The Beehive Theory which this author presents here can be a vital strategy to deal with the root problem. The methods used in this research are from the perspectives of statistics, biblical theology and practical theology. There are two parts of this research. The first part is an analysis of the Church in Taiwan today.  The second part is to develop strong preaching, strong personal evangelism, power healing and personal participation of the pastor based on Bible. Chapter one outlines the fundamental research of background information regarding the city, the church and the books of the Thessalonians. Chapter two contains the analysis of the contents of Paul's messages to the Thessalonian church based on biblical truth and faith. Chapter three concerns the study of Paul's missionary strategies in Thessalonica, including his selection of location and people for ministering, his methods of raising the church, his teachings, his working with his own hands, his team ministry and his obedience under the authority of the Holy Spirit. Chapter four presents the study of the principles of church planting and evangelistic ministries for Vineyard Christian Fellowship based on Paul's strategies for Thessalonica. In a two-phase process, the project director equipped a small group of church members, who then discipled another individual. Theologically, the basis of the project stems from Jesus' training of His disciples, with additional references to Paul's training of disciples like Timothy.  The project director worked to develop a disciple-making team in a local church historically weak in informed, intentional disciple making.  As a result of the project, the participants formed a team to plan and implement a discipleship strategy for the church. Chapter 1 examines demographics of the church and community establishing the rationale of this strategy, suggesting that church planting methods may be effective for growing existing churches. Chapter 2 studies the biblical mandate for discipleship and evangelistic church growth, from biblical theology, commentaries, and the theological foundations of the Church Growth Movement. Chapter 3 considers Church Growth literature relating to renewed growth of established churches and church planting models. Chapter 4 documents the project implementation and evaluation. The training has three objectives for the project participants: (1) increase knowledge of the origin, culture, character, theology and religious practices of the target group; (2) develop skill in witnessing; and (3) persevere in witnessing. The project engaged an eight phase process which included the following study: (1) theology of witnessing; (2) knowledge of basic history, culture, and theology and religious practices related to witnessing; (3) presentation of witnessing module; (4) and how to persevere in witnessing.  Testing instruments were also developed to test all goals and objectives. She proposed creating the manual with input from recognized church planting experts, sponsor churches, and church planters, and revising it after it had been used by participating sponsors and planters.  The manual was evaluated as failing to motivate uncommitted churches to become sponsors.  It did assist sponsors and planters who were already committed.
