The trained church members will then be equipped to have an ongoing, balanced evangelism ministry in their community.  The training curriculum will cover the three-fold aspects of prayer, witnessing, and follow-up, for balanced evangelism.  A comparison will be made between the participating churches as to the anthropological differences and the effectiveness of this ministry, in the areas of member involvement, conversions, baptisms, and new believers completing the follow-up materials. This project should demonstrate that a church could have an effective and balanced evangelism ministry regardless of location, financial resources, and anthropological differences. The project proposes that a series of twelve sermons covering all twenty-eight chapters of Acts can influence people's attitudes regarding witnessing and personal involvement in Christian evangelism. The research discloses information necessary to create the twelve persuasive sermons and the instrument measuring attitude change. A group within a church congregation participated in this project by taking a pretest and posttest version of the measuring instrument. An argument is made for the connection between cultivating one's worldview and the ability to interact with those in the postmodern world. Careful study is made of the characteristics of postmodernism, along with a survey of about two dozen Campus Crusade staff in Germany--measuring their present effectiveness in evangelism. A three-day conference introduced the staff to this worldview. Part of the reason for this is that evangelists trying to reach this group have not taken the time to discover much about the religious context of these young people.  The purpose of this book is to inform Westerners and Russians trained by Westerners regarding the spiritual experiences described by young Russian converts within their churches and organizations.  The book presents the central religious beliefs, understanding, attitudes and behaviors that formed the background of the young Russians prior to hearing the gospel of Jesus Christ.  In addition, it allows young Russians to describe their own experiences of the evangelistic process and to explain their experience of conversion as they understand it.
