The terms 'gospel,' 'kerugma,' and 'contextualization' will be defined and delineated. Examining Paul's sermons in Acts with those by the early Apostles (Acts 2:14-42; 3:12-26) a unified threefold rhetorical methods and message is discovered. The time is now to reintroduce the biblical and theological framework needed for revival to sweep across the America once again. But I must ask the question, 'Does the body of Christ desire to be renewed in their relationship with Jesus and share the Truth that transforms lives?' To answer this issue/question, I have developed a thesis-project called Time to revive: wake up tot he truth that transforms lives. This thesis-project contains four essential components - desire, design, disciple and divine - that serve as a model for any city interested in pursuing revival in our nation. With the conditions of revival (humility, prayer and fasting, seeking His face, and repentance) implemented in our lives, God has promised He will faithfully respond (2 Chronicles 7:14). However, God's response will vary in every location. When analyzing the effectiveness of a revival, in a location such as Sedona, Arizona, the most significant outcome is that the kingdom of God will be furthered by believers being revived, the lost are hearing the Good News of Jesus (evangelism) and being saved, and disciples are making disciples. These results occur not because of man's effort. Attitudes and behaviors of church members often tend to have an inward focus rather than an outward, invitational perspective. This dissertation examines the depth of this problem as well as the effectiveness of the implementation of a particular Bible study series as a tool for cultivating a healthy missional culture in the context of a specific congregation. Fifteen local Mennonite pastors were given a descriptive survey to help gather qualitative data to identify factors that may hinder their congregation's ability to effectively reach out to the local community. A similar survey was designated and administered to a test group of Towamencin Mennonite church members to assess the missional readiness of the congregation. From the data collected from these surveys, an eight-week Bible study series was developed and implemented as a research tool. Weekly surveys were used to assess the immediate effectiveness of each Bible study. A final survey was implemented at the end of the project to assess the effects of the Bible studies on the overall attitudes and behaviors of the group. These seven words which start with the letter 'c' represent seven biblical elements of evangelism. This project produced lessons for a particular congregation so they could learn and practice personal evangelism according to these seven biblical elements of evangelism. This report explored the biblical foundations and the theological reflections of these seven biblical elements and formulated them into a ten-lesson course. A pre-teaching survey of the knowledge of the students about these elements and a similar post-teachng survey served as the guidelines for the course design as well as the basis for the evaluation of the teaching. The curriculum was developed based on the words of Jesus, 'Follow me and I will make you become fishers of men' (Mk. 1:17 NAS).  The selected believers participated in the developed six-week discipleship study that contained two weeks on following Jesus, two weeks on Jesus' conforming the believer and two weeks on the Christian's responsibility in soul winning.  The study included group meetings followed by daily, individual lessons, Monday through Friday.  The participants were evaluated before, during, and after the study. It is concerned with questions related to the emergence of the postmodern worldview, the impact of the postmodern worldview on the emerging generations, and the development of a biblically based missiological paradigm for understanding, engaging, and reaching a culture shaped by this worldview.  The study examines the mission field of the emerging generations, their postmodern worldview, and how that worldview shapes their lives.  The study continues with an examination of culture along with a biblical theology of understanding and engaging culture. The study lays out a biblical paradigm for engaging the postmodern generations that is based on the Apostle Paul's engagement with the pagan Athenian culture in Acts 17. Twenty-eight people were interviewed of surveyed from the MAC region (three laypeople, fifteen pastors, and ten professors).  They answered eleven questions that dealt with components of holiness evangelism.
