A woman enters religious life with an identity, images and styles of communicating closeness or distance that were learned and internalized within the family of origin. These become conscious or unconsious means of identifying herself and her role as a religious and of relating intimately with others in a communal setting. The purpose of this project is to develop a resource guide to enable mutual ministry within the home.  From this study there emerges a strong tradition of family ministry and nurture to which the project intends to make a contribution.
