Two groups of individuals between the ages of thirty and forty-five, raised in Christian and non-Christian homes, completed the SWBS and FSI.  The thesis that a child raised in a healthy Christian home would generate high scores on the SWBS were proved to be true. Through a historical reflection of the marriage enrichment movement, the formulation of a theology of marriage, a six-session marriage enrichment course, and an overnight marriage enrichment retreat, the church offensively offers a means of helping make good marriages better.
