A pre-test and post-test evaluation compared a study group and a control group.  Some participants showed marked improvement on cognitive and attitudinal scores.  For the most part, improvement in both cognitive learning and attitudinal change was modest.  The study group demonstrated a stronger understanding and commitment to these biblical teachings than the author had anticipated. The systems approach provided a significant shift in perception about the congregation, which enabled the pastor to bring positive action to a very difficult situation. The ministry was offered to a group of four infertile couples during eight group sessions for a total of twelve contact hours.  A pretest/posttest questionnaire was given to the couples.
