The context is a Lutheran congregation in Brazil.  The project uses a method called participatory research to discover whether and to what extent the congregation and parents understand the educational role of parents. It was based on research gathered from the fields of Christian ethics, gerontology, decision-making, and interviews with those working through these decisions.  Pre- and post-assessments measured participants' cognitive learnings. The five workshops dealt with group decision-making dynamics and alternatives, issues facing the aged, and options for care.  Objectives were to contribute material beneficial to the participants.  Goals were to educate participants on the issues of the aging, care options, and a process of ethical decision-making. He sees worship as activity placing ultimate value on Jesus Christ, expressed as education, celebration, and demonstration. His program of inspiration, education, and implementation attempted to increase family worship activity in fifteen parish families.  Of forty-nine participating families, eighteen registered a substantial increase in home worship activity. Biblical principles are reduced to goal-setting techniques in order to be applied to the unique aspects of family living.  The course includes teachers' and students' manuals to facilitate use in Sunday School classes and home Bible studies.  Research includes personal, church, educational, and business goal-setting techniques adjusted to the doctrine of God's sovereignty.  The establishment of goals gives a family a sense of direction.
