In their frailty they also point us to the frailty and limitation with which God became identified in the humanity of Jesus Christ for our sake.  The aged witness to us, mediate by their existence, the mystery of grace. The Judeo-Christian heritage provides an ethical mandate for this kind of diakonia or service.  This project is a result of research on the needs of the elderly, especially those who have become frail and require assistance and how pastoral care can best satsisfy those needs.
