The content for the Proposed Field Ministries Handbook was provided by an analysis of internal documents, a survey of field leaders, interviews, and correspondence. The project report sets the proposed handbook in its historical, biblical, and organizational contexts, reflecting documentary research, biblical exegesis, and interviews with PBT veterans and representatives from other translation agencies. A Likert Scale and a series of open ended questions measured the impact that this resource had upon the participants. The findings revealed that although this resource made a positive impact upon the participants' well-being, it did not adequately attend to the subject of grieving losses through lament. The importance of lament in the process of grief is not widely understood.
