Systematic precautions against suicide in Korea, however, are insufficient compared to other developed countries. In the Korean military, suicide is the number one cause of death, and personal and family wounds caused by suicide are a major and difficult problem. The author researched suicide prevention education for chaplain assistants so that it could be more effective. Many topics were discussed, including what chaplain assistants can strive for in terms of suicide prevention for soldiers who are living together with them in the army. The data that were collected and analyzed revealed that the Christian believers know, believe and will trust God to heal them through these various forms of healing, but there was some hesitancy when it came to their attitudes concerning the invasive and non-invasive surgery healing.
